Info: Two guys that were childhood friends, Mike Schlapman and Daryl Duncan, started visions to Reality in May of 2007. Mike has been around this business for about ten years, Daryl has an art and retail business background and both do not tattoo, heck Mike is colorblind. We clean, order, promote and look for ways to improve our business for our artists and most of all you, the customer.
Why the name Visions to Reality? When I was interviewing artists, I caught myself saying that we wanted not only great tattoo artists, but also someone who can draw and communicate well with the customers. Turn their Vision to Reality. Get it!! Then I decided to go with puzzle pieces incorporated into our logo to represent that many pieces need to be in place in order to assure quality work. A clean sterile environment, top of the line artist and equipment and of course you the customer.
How can two guys that don’t tattoo own a shop? That one is easy. For starters, no two artists approach things in the same manner and will achieve the same result. Just because you are an excellent artist, it does not mean you will be an effective owner. As owners we can point customers to the artist that will best suit your needs.
